I used 

lindysgang magical-shakers

On the background sprinkling and spritzing with water, using 3 different colours. Then I used a cocoa vanilla range

More than Words range to addthe finishing touches. 

I also dug out some old Kaiserkraft stamps to give it that cute look.

Feb 1 247 CSI CHALLENGE

These colours scream summer and for us down under its perfect at the moment , with our searing hot temperatures ! Our cherry picking season is at the beginning of summer so the inspiration scene immediately reminded me of this photo !

So I predominately went with the mixed media on white cardstock, paint blended with impasto using a variety of stencils!

I used a plastic side plate, lightly  penciled in a circle then used a cotton tip (earbud) to dab in the paint and dot around the edge. 

A few splatters, swiping excess paint as a base,

A little  fabric and sewing and some embellishments  and especially the tab from Charms Creations!charmscreations

Yes I know this is last months challenge for SOS but I had to show you where my in spiration came for the design!

I used it thinking I could enter it then realisedmy mistake! But they deserve the credit !

Kraftplus January

So we were in New Zealand January 2017 on our way to Milford Sound

And we drove around the bend and  here is the Coffee Cat! 

Very enticing when it is cold and raining!

We were feeling it too because we had come from Australia's extremely hot summer of temperatures hovering around the 35 -40 degrees celsius!

I think the temp was 30 degrees cooler! 

But the funny thing was, we all chose hot chocolate !

Hello ! I really love this inspiration  photo for the month, it gave me so many ideas. I settled on using this frame stencil and adding embellishments from Pink Paislee  Turn the Page range, just so cute and feminine!

As we are just to enter another year I have decided to keep my pages less cluttered (a challenge in itself for me) in 2018.

Make less more! Keep the photo in focus!

I admire it in other artists pages!

When I spent time looking through my albums its these pages that stand out!

So its a new approach for me!

The background is jumping out but in reality its quite subtle, funny how colours are interpreted in cameras! Bit disappointing!

CSI 241 challenge

These colours were definitely a challenge !

I chose the photos because they suited the testimony but the colours in them seemed to be wrong! But I am happy with the outcome!

By using the peanut brown as my main colour and keeping the red and yellow as highlights. The 2 pale greys were  tricky, so I found the word 'together' and the vellum looked grey!

My mum is 85 and cotinues to grow the most luscious beans every Autumn,
